Pamela: HAML-like processor in Python

I realized I did not share the slides of my Montréal Python 8 Pamela presentation. Pamela is language/tool that allows developers and designers to write HTML easier by providing a CSS-savvy, Python-inspired syntax to HTML.

Pamela comes with the following features:

Indentation is used to express structure
Shorthands for CSS classes and ids
Syntax that looks very much like HTML, except simpler
Command-line program to convert your .paml files to HTML
Optional embedded web server to test your Pamela files

Salut, je m'appelle Steve. I have recently created a similar tool to Pamela, and I have created a website for it. I am wondering if you would like me to link to your project from my webpage. I had trouble finding a definitive site for your project, but the slideshow indicates that we have independently created fairly similar tools. Are you still actively maintaining yours? Obviously, I am fond of my own implementation for my own needs and purposes, but my greater goal is to expose Python folks to the beauty and pleasure of HAML-like syntax, so the more options out there the better! (within reason, of course, but I haven't found much else out there so far)

Feel free to link to this blog post or to the Pamela github repository <github.com/sebastien/pame... I agree with you and I think the Python community could benefit from more HAML-like tools !
